Amazing!!!

Hola!

Ana

Thanks for showing how your rose is done!

Its nice that SOME folders share their ideas not like other folders who are stingy about their models *hint hint

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the folds are very similar to the Kawasaki Rose. The only major difference is that it is with a pentagon instead of a square. Thinking of it this way may make it easier to understand how to make it.

Hi, I'm in love with your rose! I have to make it! I have started to make origami some weeks ago and your project has encouraged me a lot! Just wanted to thank you!

This almost makes me wonder what it would look like if the initial base was an octagon. If it's even possible to do an octagon, and at what point would it become impossible a vigintigon? a centagon? Heaven forbid a milligon?

Still, octagons are only double the sides of the originals.

Thank you very much indeed!

I think as you increase the number of the edges of the paper the model become more and more flat, and lose the naturel proportions of a rose. This pentagon is even on border line too, kinda flat. I think you have to make it different, not only implement the kawasaki idea on higher edge number. I'm not so good at designing:).

Is there anyway you could upload a video of yourself making the rose?
I'm having difficulty recreating the rose from the instructions.... often I need to watch people do things before I get how to do it.

It really is a beautiful rose and I would love to be able to impress my Mum
